Insurance: Out-of-Network Benefits
Susan is licensed in Virginia and The District of Columbia to practice as a Clinical Social Worker. As such, your insurance company may reimburse you according to the guidelines they have established for out-of-network providers. You will be provided, upon request, with statements of service that may be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. First, call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card (mental health number). Ask what the reimbursement rate is for a licensed clinical social worker, and any information you need to know in order to submit for reimbursement. Please note that clients who are utilizing out-of-network benefits are expected to pay full fee at each session.
